 About the Free 15 Day Trial
When you signup for any of the SecondRing Online Backup pricing plans, your
first 15 days are free. During the free trial period, you have full use of the software and you are entitled to use as much of the storage space of the plan you signed up for as you wish. There are no restrictions during your free trial period.
You will be asked to choose a payment option during signup,
however, you will NOT be billed for the free trial period.
Once we receive your signup information, your
account will be created and you will receive information
regarding your Online Backup account for you records.
How will I be billed?
When you sign up for SecondRing Online Backup, you will
have the option of paying by credit card, Paypal, eCheck or bank check. If paying by eCheck or Bank Check there will be an additional $5.00 adminstrative fee added to your monthly bill.
After the first 15 day period, you will be billed for the remainder of the existing month (prorated to the 1st) and next month in advance.
If you chose to be billed by credit card, your credit card will be debited automatically and you will receive a receipt via email.
About overusage
If the amount of data that you
have backed up (after compression) on our servers, exceeds the amount of
storage included in your plan (plus any additional
storage that you have signed up for), you will receive a
notification via email approximately 7 days before the
end of your billing cycle. You will be able to continue
to backup and use the service uninterrupted. This email
notification is sent as a courtesy to you and gives you the opportunity to delete files
or revisions that you no
longer need to be backed up. If you would like
assistance deleting files or running revision rules, please feel
free to contact customer support via SUPPORT
If you are still over your storage allotment for your service plan at the
end of that billing cycle, your plan will be upgraded with ONE (1) Additional GB of Space at the pre-determined billing rate for additional space.
